Art Direction & Photography
Award-Winning Photography
For many years I have felt a strong connection to stone and the art of stonemasonry — stone embodies the earth's strength and beauty. Its natural textures and patterns tell stories of time and transformation, used by knowledgeable architects and skilled stonemasons to create spaces that feel both grounded and alive. Stone's natural beauty is also matched by its sustainable credentials as a building material.
Over the last few years, I've had several images shortlisted for the INOPERA Group Stone and Vision Awards and in 2023 I was selected as one of the four winners. This prestigious photography award sparks meaningful conversations about the use of stone and terrazzo in the modern built environment.
Personal Project
This authentic time-lapse series of Botley Allotments, Oxford, was captured over one year during the Covid19 pandemic. Having a task to focus on, even a small one, brought me comfort and a sense of excitement during my daily walks.
